Proving Des Moines is NOT boring

Sweet tickets

OK Des Moines, time for one of our favorite posts, a post where we get to give away tickets to our readers. From time to time we are contacted by great businesses who want to reach out to our readers. Most of the time the benefit of reaching out means our readers get to win cool stuff, wether it be spices, tickets to a show, or in this cases tickets to a Spirits & Sweets event at the Living History Farms.

Pair one-of-a-kind mini martinis mixed by Iowa artisan distillers with bite-sized sweet treats created by local bakeries. Mingle and nosh as you visit with distillers about the process of making spirits with Iowa corn, and don’t forget to stop by the olive bar provided by Gateway Market. Partners include Templeton Rye, Cedar Ridge Distillery, Crème Cupcakes, El Patio, Mississippi River Distilling Company and Sweet Binney’s.

The cost is $18 for LHF Members and $20 for Non-Members. Tickets can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/xXrOC3.

Now is the fun part. Correctly answer the below question on our Facebook Page to have your name entered in a drawing. We will accept the correct answer until 4pm today, at which time we will draw the winning name and place that persons name on our Facebook Page. The winner will win two tickets to Saturday’s event, good luck to all.

Question:

What was the name of the Living History Farms during house we featured in our Why eat at a Chain  Wednesday post back in November of 2010?
