Proving Des Moines is NOT boring

Doing More at 80-35: Final Day of Registration for Non-Profits

There’s certain elements that can transform a 2-day concert into a 2-day festival and one of them has consistently been the Do More Village at 80-35.  This will be the 5th year that Young Professionals Connection will be hosting the village along Locust street as a showcase of differing organizations and Non-profits throughout Central Iowa.  The message to “Do More” is pretty obvious for anyone who heads through this portion of 80-35 each year.

For organizations looking to sign-up, the DEADLINE IS TODAY for applications.  Many of the groups from previous years have already secured their spots, as the returning non-profits have found immediate ROI by engaging with thousands of the festival attendees.  For the org’s that have not signed up
yet, details and a link to YPC registration are below:

This is your opportunity to promote your nonprofit to Greater Des Moines and reach a large audience of potential volunteers.  This year’s 80/35 festival will be held Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7 in Western Gateway Park. Setup will be from 11 am to 2 pm Friday, with the Village open from 2 to 9 pm Friday and 10 am to 9 pm Saturday. We expect all organizations to be present in their tents at those times.
