Action before Monday: Final Push for DMSC in the Firehouse

The support in the last 2 weeks for the Des Moines Social Club‘s initiatives has been overwhelming.  It’s a bold step forward that Des Moines can take right now and it’s still in jeopardy.  On Monday night, our Des Moines City Council is set to review the competing proposals for 900 Mulberry Street.  They will then decide what they believe to be the best move for our city’s future and do reserve the right to reject both proposals.

This is crunch time – now is the time to sign the petition and contact your council member- please please please hit that – it’s all we need to put this over the top!

And as a special thank you – we’re treating everyone to a FREE concert to rally the troops this Sunday from 4:30pm-8pm at Wooly’s featuring Christopher the Conquered, Mumford’s, Patrick Tape Fleming, Ladysoal, and Rachel Glaza belly dance! Old school DMSC show like we used to do in the old days – plus live painting by Van Holmgren and Body by Svec. RSVP and spread the word via the Facebook event. 

This is it – we are on the precipice – let’s do this! Join us on Sunday at Wooly’s and Monday at City Hall and let’s make this happen!
