Play reading – “Halfway Home” with The Rising Phoenix Theatre Company

250018_372076336203780_549131034_nThe Rising Phoenix Theatre Company will be presenting a reading of the play “Halfway Home” by Diane Bank. The play is a comedy about family conflicts, career frustrations, and the problems that arise when you try to “go home again.

When: Friday, February 1st and Saturday, February 2nd at 7:30 p.m.
Where:  The First Unitarian Church of Des Moines
1800 Bell Ave. Des Moines, IA

 Admission: Cost of admission is a goodwill donation to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief. All money collected will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Additional information: The playwright, Diane Bank, is an Iowa native now residing in New York City. The play takes place in New York and in Ankeny, Iowa.

The Rising Phoenix Theatre Company is a female-focused theatre company founded in 2011 by Mandy Julson and Lyra Halsten
